How did it get to be the middle of October???

I can't believe the last update I made was in June!  So much to catch up on from the summer but I'll try to summarize as much as possible.

July - Camps, birthday and visits
July was a whirlwind of kids at camps, Steve and I alternating going to conferences, unfortunately that while the kids were at camp, so we only got brief chance of some time togehter and didn't get to plan a getaway...maybe next year.  We did manage to sneak in an Adult only Euchre Birthday Birthday cake party for Steve before the kids came home. After the kids got back, my dad came to Seattle for a visit and then stayed to work at SeaFair with the Coast Guard Auxillary.  He said he really enjoyed and it was fun getting to see the Blue Angels doing flyovers!  We also managed to get to the Microsoft Picnic and the kids really enjoyed a fun filled day and we even had great weather.Sun

August - Columbus trip, more camps and family fun
End of July we headed for an 11 day trip to Columbus for the Luper Family Reunion and Mollie Kahn's 100th birthday! Birthday cakeIt was a great trip and we got to see family and friends during our visit.  Highlights included the Luper reunion, seeing Arnett Howard, a trip to the Rockhold Hatch, visit to neighbors on Venetian Way, The Ohio State Fair, Graeters & Skyline (of course), girls night out, kids sleepovers, a behind the scenes tour of the Ohio State Buckeye Stadium (thank you Gail!) and seeing Molly play with her band Noteat Hoggy's.  I'm sure I'm missing many other highlights but it was a pretty full trip!Airplane

End of August included more camps, including Nathan flying a plane Airplane at the Museum of Flight camp (how cool is that!) and Jessi awesome peformance as the Narrator in her Performing Arts campGirl.  We took the kids to see the new broadway show "Shrek The Musical" it was really funny and the kids really enjoyed it.  Of course we had to get dad Shrek Ears since he is Grandpa Shrek.  We also had a brief visit from Gail and Brad (and Brad's dad) on their way back from Alaska.  It was a fun dinner but due to unexpected downpouringUmbrella (rain in Seattle -who would have thought) there wasn't much sightseeing.  Jessi also got her braces off in August and is now wearing a retainer.

September - Back to school
In September it was of course time for "Back to school" Computer .  I was in Denver for a conference we managed for Microsoft and before I got back Steve had to leave for a trip to Thailand for his new role at Microsoft in HSG (Health Solutions Group).  So for 30 hours our poor kids got handed off to several friends and a babysitter until I got back into town on Sunday!

More fun in September including a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo on a beautiful warm daySun, a few B'Nai mitzvah for friends of Nathan's, getting ready for Rosh Hashanah and we got to catch up with our Aussie friends Dean and Stuart for dinner while they were in town.  Also the kids started their afterschool activities including Hip Hop!

October - already??
Here we are in October and we're a month and half into school and the kids are doing well.

On Rosh Hashanah we continued mom's tradition and had our Open House for the first time in Washington.   It was great having so many wonderful people we've met in Seattle come get to relax and enjoy the holiday with us.

After Rosh Hashanah, we Pre-launched the Franklin Move In A Box (MIAB) at SMB Nation.  Steve (Williford) spoke at the conference and Kim was recruiting for MIAB as she was talking to people while attending the conference. Jamie, Alyse and Leslie all came out and helped.  We got great responses to the product!  Now the fun stuff...getting it ready for prime time!

Dad came in for Yom Kippor and it was a long day of fasting but ended wonderfully with break fast at the Kay's house.  What could be better than ending a day of fasting with a shot of Jack Daniels?  A homemade chocolate cream pie chaser of course! Smile

Dad left on Friday, Steve headed back to Thailand on Saturday and the Aussie's left on Sunday...I think I'll get a Bluper Airport Shuttle sticker for the side of my car!Open-mouthed

This week has been spent with kids catching up on homework, me working on getting things rolling for Franklin Washington, Move In A Box and finding work!  Included in that work I have cleaned out my email from 650 to 268 in my Inbox!  Yeah!!!E-mail

Dad has setup a Pancreatic Research Walk through Lustgarten Foundation in memory of Mom.  We'll be walking with him on February 8th and I setup a site if you want to sponsor me:  Phoenix Pancreatic Cancer Walk In Memory of Dody Norban

Sorry for the long winded catch-up entry but hopefully I can get back to at least monthly entries moving forward.

I've been trying to keep things updated on Facebook too so you can look me up there as well!

Bar Mitzvah Fun - GO Bucks!

Sorry it took me so long to get this posted but I've been catching up from everything I was putting off while planning the Bar Mitzvah.

I'm sure all Bar Mitzvah mom's say this...but No Mom could ever be prouder of her son!!

Thursday
The weekend actually started with Thursday morning Minyan where Nathan got to do a test run on his Torah reading and practice a few of the prayers with a smaller amount of people than Saturday morning.  After minyan we dropped him to school for a very short day since we picked him and Jessica up by 1p to make it to the 2p dress rehersal with the Cantor and photographers.  Nathan and Ali, who was his B'nai Mitzvah partner, went through the service while the photographers snapped picture after picture.   The kids must have felt like stars!

Once we were done there we headed home and all of our out of town family and friends came over to our house.  We all had pizza and hung out and it was a great casual get together.  Nathan and Jacob got a chance to catch up with each other and everyone had a nice time getting to chat.

Check out the photos album for Thursday

Friday
Friday morning was a regular school day but I picked Nathan up a little early so he and Jacob could get some more time together.  Nathan even got to squeeze in an extra chance to see Grandma Carol and Grandpa Fred and friends at lunch.   Jacob and Nathan got to hang out at our house and we dropped Jessica off at her Dance rehersal on the way to the synagogue.  Everyone  got to enjoy Nathan and Ali leading the Friday Night service and Jessica even got to the synagogue just before the service started!
Check out the photos album for Friday

Saturday
Bright and early Saturday morning at the synagogue, Nathan put on his Bar Mitzvah Talit with the Rabbi and got ready for the service to begin.
Nathan did an absolutely amazing job on leading, reading out of the torah, chanting his Haftorah and beautifully delivering his D'Var Torah (Bar Mitzvah speech).  Nathan got up in front of everyone and his passion and dedication for what he was doing was so apparant. He even managed a smile or two towards the end of the service along with a big sigh of relief when it was all over.

In addition to the religious aspects he showed that he has taken on more of an adult role up by being a gracious host to his family and friends that attended for the weekend.

One more entry before the end of May...

l Well this month has definitely been a busy one!

Today, Nathan and Jessica both had their Hip Hop dance recitals.  Wow!  They both did amazing! I'll posted pictures in the photo area so you can check them out.

Steve was in NYC and London on business trips in the first part of the month and there was lots of last minute Bar Mitzvah stuff and a conference setup for me.

Somehow in all the chaos we got to enjoy going to the Mariners game with Grandpa Larry and Nathan's friend Ryan to celebrate both Nathan and Grandpa's birthday!  Steve was able to get us a Mariner's Suite to enjoy the game from.  It was a really great time.

Only a few weeks left of school and the kids are getting excited about their fun summer coming up.

Steve and I just realized that June starts tomorrow and can't believe we're almost 1/2 way through 2008!  I guess it's been a very busy year so far.

The next big thing in the works is getting our house ready to sell and finding a bigger house Smile  Now if we could just figure out how to make the real estate market be in better shape we'd be all set.

I'm doing a separate blog entry for all the Bar Mitzvah stuff since it was such wonderful weekend and there is so much to write about with that.

Looking forward to some nice sunshine in June!

Hope things are going well with everyone and please feel free to post comments so I know people are actually reading my blog! Open-mouthed

Totally missed on April, but here it is in May.

Sorry I totally missed getting an entry in for April but I guess the month was way beyond crazy and here it is May 10th and I'm making my first entry for May!

I guess I really wanted to make sure I got to post out here for Mother's Day this year since it will be a very sad and weird Mother's day in many ways, but Steve and the kids are trying very hard to make it as happy as possible for me.

Mothers Day without mom, very very sad...
I've had a tradition with mom every year to sing this really goofy Mother's Day song to her every year either in person or over the phone.   She loved it and it always made us both laugh.  As silly as it was, it was such a special thing for both of us.   Even though I'm still going to sing it for her, I'm going to miss her great laughter in return.  I guess that was always MY mother's day present back from her, laughing together.

Here's the song that I'm sure you all have heard before or sung yourself...
I like the way you look
I like the way you cook
All I'm really trying to say is
Happy Mother’s day!
I love you mom and miss you very much! Red heartRed roseRed lipsRight hug

Our Mother's Day family plan
We've tried to get as much of the Bar Mitzvah errands/planning done Friday and Saturday as possible so we can enjoy the time together tomorrow for Mother's Day.   Steve got us all tickets for "Corteo - Cirque Du Soleil" tomorrow evening.  I'm very excited since I've never been to a Cirque Du Soleil show.   So after hebrew school in the morning we'll grab a nice lunch together and then head to Redmond for the show at 5p.  Steve and I had a few errands to run so I told the kids that for Mother's Day I wanted them to clean-up the house before we got back.   It was nice to come home to all of their stuff being put away!Open-mouthed  Thank you kids, it was one of the best presents a mom could get from her kids (other than diamond earrings from Tiffany's of course)!Wink

Enough about Mother's Day...the Bar Mitzvah count down continues to a very short 14 days left!   So little time and so much to do.  Actually much of the big stuff is in process but we're trying to wrap up all the little details now and then hoping they will all fall into place when it's time.Clock

He's been working hard on his community service project and as you can see on the main page of the blog has raised over $600 for Pancan.org.   He's also putting together and selling purple wristbands with an information card and collectiing donations to raise awareness.   I'm very proud of the effort he's made and he's feeling like he's acutally making a difference.   He's also sending out about 3 emails a day to help raise awareness too.  On top of all that he's been practicing his Torah portion, service and D'Var in preparation for the big day, all while maintaining A's and B's in school!  Way to go Nate!Party

Last week I got to go with Jessica and her class on a field trip to the beach to check out tide pools.  It was really fun to get to see them all learning so much and meeting some of her classmates.   I also really enjoyed spending the time with Jessi.  With everything else going on it's been really difficult to get as much one on one time as I'd like to spend with her.

Steve is heading to London on a business trip until Friday and on Friday dad will come in to celebrate his birthday and Nathan's together before all the chaos begins.

Other updates...

I had started an entry in April but it was such a busy month I never got to spend the time finishing it or posting it so here's the April highlights:

Passover, what a crazy, whirlwind, busy, overwhelming, sad, fun, interesting 8 days it was!

NAB - great project and show and Jaime started working with Franklin and on the project with me.  Vegas again...glad the next project's NOT in Vegas! Surprised

Bar Mitzvah Planning - see above!

One of the highlights of April was that our friends Dean and Stuart from Australia came for a visit while they were in town for business.   We all went to a Mariner's game together and had a lot of fun hanging out with them for the evening.  Steve posted pictures on his blog if you want to check them out click here... Go Mariner's - Aussie's at the game.

I'm sure there was more chaos I forgot to write about but since we're already well into May and I've written more than anyone's probably going to read, I'll stop here!

Thanks for checking out the blog and I hope to write once more before the end of May!Sleeping half-moon

30 mars

Yeah..I got one more entry in before the end of March

Can't believe that March has come and almost gone!

It has been a very bizarre and busy month and something tells me that April will be similarly bizarre and busy.

Between spring break, a confrerence in Las Vegas I'm working and Passover all coming up in April, I'm sure it will fly by quickly.

This weekend Nathan did a robotics event Friday night and we did family game night at the community center.   Nathan couldn't wait to get home so he could play Rock Band on the Xbox.  Everyone got to play all the different instruments/vocals and we all played together and had fun.

Saturday we shopped for Bar Mitzvah clothes and played more Rock Band.

Sunday after hebrew school and another round of Passover shopping Nathan had a few friends over to play, you guessed it...Rock Band!Hot  (Do you see a trend happening here...

All in all it was a nice weekend and we really enjoyed getting to spend some time together and made some progress on getting things done on the to do list too.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Moving through March at a fast pace

Well here we are with less of March to go than we've been through.   Just to give you some insight, I started this message 2 weeks ago and finally getting it published for you to read.Surprised

So at this point the Bar Mitzvah invitations are ordered, Kippot are ordered and our weekly trips to the synagogue now number about 4- 5 per week between Bar Mitzvah lessons with the Cantor, the Rabbi, his Torah tutor, regular hebrew school, Shabbat services and morning minyans fo rme.  Most of our free time anymore is spent trying rein in the other 1000 details for the event but at least the big decsions are almost done!  Nathan started on his Bar Mitzvah Community Service project raising money and awareness for Pancan.org with a firstgiving web site that he setup and he's finalizing details on how to raise awareness. I posted a link to his site on my blog and my facebook site.

Since my last entry at the beginning of March we've had a Lice outbreak (ewww), very glad that's over with, $2000 later! Nathan woke up one morning covered in Hives, the cause is still undetermined but we have a suspicion that it might have been caused by Almonds.   Werid because he's never been allergic to anything before!  Luckily the Children's urgent care was open, not busy and we were in and out with a prescription for Prednizone in a 1/2 hour.

Mom's Shloshim was on March 11th.   For the Shloshim, Nathan, Jessi, Steve and I all went to the morning minyan service on Tuesday 3/11 and there was once again great community support from our synagogue with everyone that showed up to make sure we had a minyan.   There were well beyond the required 10 people. Nahtan and Jessica got to open the ark for the service in honor of thier grandma.  They were both very sad, but proud to be there in honor of mom and in support of me. The shloshim is the 30 day period of morning in Judaism where life apparently returns to normal.   Not so sure I'd exactly call it normal, but those of you who are reading this and know us know that there really is never a "normal" in the Luper household.

AirplaneOn 3/14 I headed to Phoenix to get to visit with dad, help him go through mom's clothes, pictures and start getting thing reorganized after all the chaos since October.  There was much to do but dad and I were able to break up the tasks by going to a spring training game (Mariners vs. Giants) Mariners lost, however it was a beautiful day out and we had a nice time.  My Uncle Arnie (dad's brother) went with us and he's a big baseball fan too.   Camera Much of the time during the weekend was spent doing an inital pass through what I thought was a moving box of pictures.   About 4 moving boxes later, Monday morning, I had gone through all the pictures that weren't in albums and had things at least sorted down into 1 box of really old, black and white pictures of mom and dad growing up and all our great great great relations.  2 boxes of 60s - 1979, including me, Michele and Scott as little kids, our B'Nai mitzvot pictures (nice outfits in the 70s!).  The from the 80s to current we ended up with about 8 boxes of pictures of Mom and Dad, their friends, our friends growing up, college days and of course tons of all of our kids.  It was very bittersweet to look through finding amazing pictures of mom and dad together throughout the years including their wedding albums some that made me cry, and then finding a picture of my Grandpa on rollerskates at my Bat Mitzvah that made me smile.

Work is going well and I have a few great opportunities that have turned up.   This is never a bad thing, but I was really hoping timing would work out so I had a little break between now and after the Bar Mitzvah before things got out of hand.  Oh well, the best laid plans of mice and contractors!

Not sure if anyone is still awake after reading all that so I'll sign off for now and try to get back to weekly entries next weekend!

Jessi's Braces

Jessi got braces today and wanted to show off her new smile.  She got 4 on the front teeth to get everything aligned and get the tooth that was growing in forward back where it belongs!

And yes they are Heart braces with 4 different colored bands...now she has a rainbow smile!   Her choice on the hearts and colors of course!Open-mouthed
3 mars

80 days and counting

80 days and counting until the Bar Mitzvah and there is sooo much to do.

We finalized and ordered the invitations and Kippot.   Nathan decided on the tallis he wanted and we actually found one available in Seatn tle after looking all over online and even back in Columbus!

We are meeting with the Westin today to talk over menus and also meeting with the cater for the Kiddush at the synagogue.

We feel good about finally starting to make some progress, although it's going slower than we had hoped, we're finally getting some momentum! Yeah!

Nathan had a Bat Mitvah party to go to Saturday night and came back with lots of information and ideas for what he did and didn't want to do for his which helped too.

Nathan is starting to focus on his Bar Mitzvah community service project which originally he talked about several different ideas, he's now thinking of focusing his efforts for something that will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Research.   More info soon on what he chooses.

Other stuff this weekend...
This weekend we cheked out the new neighborhood pizza place and watched the movie "The Game Plan".  It was a pretty cute kids movie, Jessi loved it and since it was football centric Nathan even liked it too.

Sunday Nathan was asked to help out with teaching the 4th graders Hebrew School class and he said he really enjoyed it and they asked him to come back next week.

Sunday evening the synagogue had it's fundraiser which was a several small groups of people getting together for "themed" dinners.   Steve and I attended the "Blazing Saddles" dinner, which of couse meant dressing up in costumes and viewing of the movie with in character parts for those who dressed up and song sheets.   It was a fun group of people and we had a great time!

Have a great week and I'll try to keep up with the weekly postings since I've heard people are reading them! :)

Life starting to return to abnormal...

Kids are at the end of their Winter Break week so it's been a slightly more abnormal week than usual, (abby someone...abby normal, yes I've seen Young Frankenstein once too many times! :)

The week was nice when we started off with a 2.5 mile scenic hike this past Sunday 2/17.  The weather this week for February in Seattle has been amazingly pretty it's now Sunday and I think there has only been 1 day without sun.

Nathan got to hang out with some of his friends this week and Jessi went to schools out camp and really enjoyed it.  Nathan and I even got a chance to go for a walk and take advantage of the beautiful weather we had.

On Wednesday we saw the Lunar Eclipse, got to play Monopoly and have Pizza.

We had a busy but fun weekend starting with the neighborhood Family Games night, Nathan attended a friends Bar Mitzvah and we got time to shop and get Jessi some new clothes she needed.

Saturday it was so pretty Steve and I decided to go for a walk and started looking at new houses in the area.  We ended up looking in a new area we didn't even know existed and found these great houses that we may consider buying.  Not sure if timing and finances will work out on them but we'll have to see.

On Sunday we got some more sad news that Steve's Grandma Evelyn had passed away that morning.   She was 93 and still lived in Buffalo NY.  So tomorrow Steve is flying to Buffalo to join his parents and siblings for the funeral.

The rest of the day was happier, we took the kids to see the house we liked that we looked at Saturday and then took the kids to see "Mame" at the 5th Ave Theatre.  They both enjoyed the show and then we had dinner at a cool Italian restaurant we found.

We're continuing to plan for the Bar Mitzvah with 89 days and counting...

Thanks for the Memories

I have done a lot of thinking, crying and reflecting since my last entry.

If you look in the photo section to the right, I posted a lot of photos of mom on the site.  I found them as I spent a lot of time looking through all of our pictures to find more pictures of mom that we hadn't had a chance to tag yet.

One thing I noticed that was wonderful was how involved my parents have been with our kids.   We have pictures of mom and dad with the kids from their condo in Columbus, their condo in Phoenix, parks around Columbus, the house we grew up in on Birkdale, Alum Creek, Seneca Lake, on the boat, carving pumpkins, in Seattle and on and on!  Looking at the pictures reminded me that we got to share many wonderful years, events, recitals and most of all precious time together.

Speaking of together, I have to say the outpouring of cards, visitors, email, blog posts and phone calls through all this has been greatly appreciated and really helped me through this difficult time.  Thank you to everyone for all your kindness and support.

There is so much I want to write about but I haven't been able to pull it into a cohesive writing so instead and have put some random thoughts below...

Just a few of Our Special Memories

Harry Belafonte and cleaning the house

Especially Man Smart (Women Smarter), Momma Look A Boo Boo, A Hole in the bucket

I'm sure there are many many more of these but these are the one's I thought of right away that always make me smile.

Now it's time to refocus on the insanity we call life, but with all that's happened I'm definitely looking at it differently now, reprioritizing my focus.

The kids are on break this week but we're keeping it fairly low key (at least for our usual standards).  In addition we're working on plans for Nathan's Bar Mitzvah, I'm ramping up a new project at work, Jessi's enjoying getting together with friends, Steve and I are working on our summer schedule on what we're going to do.

More to come soon...

The saddest entry - Goodbye Mom - I Love you.

Today I am making the saddest entry I hope I ever have to make, for today we attended my mom's funeral.

Not sure I would even be able to fully be able to describe the day so I'm not going to try.

I have spent the last few days trying to think of what I could say at the funeral that would even express the feelings I have been having. Or what the right words to describe what an incredibly amazing lady mom was or even how much she meant to me.

I never did come up with anything to say but my brother, Scott and my sister, Michele both said so many wonderful things about her.  In addition Rabbi Berman from Congregation Tifereth Israel in Columbus sent a wonderful tribute to her that was read by Rabbi Scharf from Kivell in Phoenix.

There were times when everyone cried, but also where everyone laughed which is what mom would have wanted.

I tried to say goodbye but it still seems so surreal.

I wanted to share something I wrote for mom years ago, it's a goofy poem I wrote at 2a in 1996when I realized how truly amazing my mom really was:

You’re the Best

You can’t understand
Until it happens to you.
There’s a cry in the night -
Is it already 2?

Only Mom understands

What the cry is about.

New teeth are coming

In pairs -- no doubt!

The comforting touch

Of Mom slows the tears.

These things we forget

With the passing years.

Then we have our own child

And we are up all night.

Finally they sleep

And things are alright.

You think to yourself

In this moment of rest.

My Mom did this for me

Thanks Mom -- You’re the Best!

Love, Brenda

An Amazing story

This story was written by Joy Rockhold's son Thomas.   Last week Tom, Joy, Thomas and Chord, drove from Columbus to Phoenix to come see my parents and get a chance to visit with mom.  Joy told me about the story and I asked her to send it to me.

I cried when I read the story and had happened to have taken pictures of the flower he talked about before I knew he had written this story, so I attached the pictures which don't do the flower, or Thomas' story justice.

A Flower in the Desert

I’ve spent a lot of time looking around the last few days.  I don’t know quite what I’ve been looking for or when I will see it, but I kept thinking of flowers.  I don’t know why, but the idea of seeing flowers bloom in the winter has felt like a sign for me since I left the house three days ago.  My family has been driving since Saturday, to get to Phoenix, so we could see someone probably for the last time, and to say goodbye in person.  We have driven for days across the country and through every environment I’ve every seen.  Still the only thing that has stayed in my mind, since we left Columbus, is flowers in bloom.  I saw no flowers in Ohio’s snow, no blossoms in the hills of the Ozarks, and not even a bud on the open plains of Texas.  I finally found one at the house we had traveled so far to get to.  A flower had traveled just as far as I have, dormant and unopened, to bloom in the Arizona sun.  In a room full of people and the hustle of life, but still shadowed by the thought of death, it stood.  The petals standing boldly against its long, thick green stem, which proudly grew tall from its planter.  It captivated my attention as if calling: Look, here I am, you have been looking for me and finally found me….

Heading back to Phoenix

Mom’s condition took a turn for the worst yesterday as we were informed by Dr. Halepota that she will no longer be able to be treated with Chemo due to her high billirubin numbers. As of yesterday the count was 17 which is extremely high.

We are all traveling to Phoenix today to be with Mom and Dad over the weekend through Tuesday evening.

Nathan worked very hard last night to finish up the scrapbook for mom so he could bring it to her.  It is full of the love Nathan has for his grandma came out beautifully.

We spoke to Dad this morning, and said they were doing ok. Mom doesn't seem to be in much pain, which we are so thankful.

Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers, they are all still being received well.

Back in Seattle

It's was a pretty crazy last few weeks...

I took a trip to Phoenix in mid-December and was there when Mom started chemo.

Enjoyed a few days of Winter break with the kids including an overnight trip to Ocean Side, WA.
Finalizing the plan and prepping for CES conference.
Spent a great weekend before and including New Years Eve in Spokane at First Night Spokane.
Got the kids back to school and then headed off to work at CES.
Had a brief few days at home and then headed back to Phoenix again, returning yesterday.

At the moment planning on being in Seattle for a little while and Steve and I are getting started on planning Nathan's Bar Mitzvah.
Have the location picked and now working on pinning down the invitations, photographer, DJ etc.

Nathan is putting together a scrapbook to give to mom and in doing so we've looked through lots of photographs from the last 12ish years.  Lots of memories and great times with great friends!  Guess it's good to go through the photos now since we'll have to start putting together the slide show for the bar mitzvah soon anyhow...

I REACHED MY GOAL!!! YEAH!!!

I have been working out and working out and working out after gaining about 10 pounds a few months after we moved to Seattle.  No matter how much I worked out and watched what I ate I couldn't lose the weight.  Very frustrating...

Then my trainer, Leslie, at the JCC got me started with Weight Watchers online program.  No meetings, all online and $17 per month...I was in.

I started at the beginning of September and by the beginning of December I had reached my weight goal.

With Leslie's help on my workouts I not only acheived my weight goal but I'm at 15.2% body fat! Yeahhhhhh!!

Now I just need to maintain it. Open-mouthed

BTW -- Steve has lost almost 25 pounds on Weight Watchers too!!!!

Geocaching today

It was gorgeous out today and almost hit 50 degrees!

We decided after lunch to go do a few Geocahe's at Snoqualmie Ridge/Falls area.  We found 2 cahces and this was the first time that Jessica really enjoyed it!

Now we're about to go out for Chinese food...now that's a great Jewish Christmas dinner!
